Reference material is a fantastic way to improve your clone. Saving reference material has a wide range of benefits, like knowledge base expansion and improved accuracy. Below, we'll go over how to upload reference materials and preserve conversations that your clone can reference to make interactions as helpful and valuable as possible.

First, let’s go over uploading reference material:

  1. Head to your clone master dashboard.
  2. Next, click on the gear icon at the top right of your screen.
  3. Look to the bottom of the options found on the left this window to find the “Reference Material” area.
  4. Click the “+” icon to the right of the text, click “choose file" and select the reference material you would like to upload from your device.

  1. Following that, you have the option to set a title for the uploaded material. While this step is not mandatory, there are several advantages to providing a title.

Verifying Your Reference Material

Now that you've uploaded your document successfully, you might want to verify your reference material to ensure it works properly. You can do this by using the search feature on the right-hand side of the page. It scans your query across all reference material and provides a breakdown of relevant content.

After hitting search, you'll see your latest query appear and begin processing. The time this takes may vary depending on the size of your knowledge base.

After processing is complete, your results, along with the corresponding documents, will be shown. You can use the small arrow next to each entry to reveal additional information.
