Pro Plus members can upload files directly into their chats with Olympia assistants, streamlining the process of sharing detailed information. Whether it’s a document from your device, Google Drive, or Dropbox, this feature allows you to effortlessly provide context and supporting materials without having to manually input the details. Simply upload and let your assistant access the information instantly for a smoother, more efficient conversation experience.

Step by Step:

  1. Navigate to your dashboard and start a conversation with the agent you want to discuss your document with.
  2. Click the (+) icon located to the left of the text field, and select ‘Upload a new file’.

  1. On the following page, click ‘Upload with Carbon’.

  1. If this is your first time using file uploads, you may be prompted to connect to Carbon. Simply click the ‘Connect’ button to proceed.

Carbon is a universal retrieval engine for LLMs to access unstructured data from any source. Unlike traditional uploads, Carbon AI offers advanced data connectivity, allowing Olympia to access and process unstructured data more efficiently.

Upload Methods

Third-Party Upload Options:

  1. From the upload menu, select Google Drive or Dropbox from the list of upload options.
  2. On the next tab, you’ll be prompted to connect your account. Click “Connect Account” to proceed.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect your account until you reach a page that confirms your account has been successfully connected. Once there, close the window.
  4. When you return to Olympia, the Carbon pop-up will refresh, displaying the files in your selected cloud storage. Select a file by checking the box to the left of its name, and then click Upload File.

  1. After selecting your file and clicking Upload, the pop-up will close, and you’ll be returned to the Olympia upload page. Your selected file will then be converted into text that your consultant can review. On this page, you can also leave instructions for your consultant, which will be sent as a prompt once the document upload is complete.
